Welcome to Haze! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Haze application and services operated by Pixygon ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Haze, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Haze, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Accept our Privacy Policy

2. Description of Service

Haze is an AI-powered entertainment platform that allows users to engage in conversations with fictional AI characters. The service includes:

• Chat interactions with AI personalities
• Character customization and progression
• Virtual currency and in-app purchases
• Social features and community elements

Important: All AI characters are fictional. They are not real people, and conversations are generated by artificial intelligence for entertainment purposes only.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Haze to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Generate content involving minors in any inappropriate context
• Attempt to extract or manipulate the AI for harmful purposes
• Circumvent security features or access restrictions
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Spread malware or engage in phishing

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

Haze offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require payment. Subscription details and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

5.4 Virtual Currency (Sparks)

Sparks are virtual currency for use within the app. They have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Unused Sparks are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Haze—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, characters, and software—are owned by Pixygon and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to use, display, and process it for service operation and improvement.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Haze uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are generated algorithmically, not by real people
• AI may produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected content
• AI characters are fictional and for entertainment only
• You should not rely on AI responses for factual information
• AI does not provide professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAZE AND PIXYGON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Content generated by AI or other users
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pixygon and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Haze or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.

13. Real-User Interactions

Haze may include real users mixed into the discovery pool alongside AI-generated characters. By using Haze, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• You may interact with both AI characters and real users without knowing which is which
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the real-user features
• You must not share explicit content, personal contact information, or financial details with other users
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, and spam toward other users are strictly prohibited
• You may use the "Reveal" feature to voluntarily disclose that you are a real person; this action is irreversible
• You may block or report any user at any time; blocked users cannot see your profile or contact you
• Haze reserves the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms
• Haze is not responsible for the content or behavior of other real users

By creating a real-user profile, you consent to having your profile shown to other users in the discovery pool. Your profile data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
